Come experience a revitalized city with 100 years of history. Outside of county-fair-time, the entire grounds and facilities are available to rent at the Stanislaus County Fairgrounds. This 72-acre campus becomes home to nationally-known events such as the Modesto Area Model A's Swap Meet and many local events like the Stanislaus County Sheriff's Posse Rodeo, quilt shows, horse shows and sales, dog shows, numerous livestock exhibit/sales, and, wedding receptions, large parties, and business conferences. On the property, are five exhibit buildings, two of which are over 14,000 sq. feet each, a full-service Arena accommodating up to 4,400 guests in permanent grandstand, box and bleacher seating, a full-service livestock area with nine livestock barns, a pavilion and even a cow milking parlor.
